American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her career in support roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). Then, she took on the character as reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt. Also, she played an appearance in the short-lived FX series The Ex List. In the very first season she played the role of Moira O'Hara as an untried Moira and in the second season, she was Kaylee. She was Jessie Anderson's character on AMC's The Walking Dead. Sophie played the role of Sophie in the NBC show This Is Us. She also voices a variety of characters in Family Guy's animated comedy. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe who is the main character of Netflix's series Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 years old when her mother and she relocated to California [1The couple lived there for a while before setting up in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was interested in acting, photography and singing at the age of 13. Breckenridge returned to Los Angeles with the help from her mother around the age of 15.
