Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she performed at The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her an undergraduate degree in Communications and Theater. After moving into Los Angeles she quickly got involved in theater arts acting as well as choreographing over a dozen plays and musical productions such as The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera and seven title roles with Los Angeles' award-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly was able to secure film and television roles as she studied improvisation at The Groundlings. The combination of her unique voice and her petite stature enabled Kelly to come up with an array of vibrant characters. Her most well-known role is her role as a co-star with Naomi Watts taking over the part of the villainous Samara in The Ring 2 but is also more commonly recognized for the glamorous bright receptionist in Two and a Half Men. From 2011-2015 Kelly worked as a paralegal in the daytime and a party night hopper as a Series regular for the TV Land comedy The Exes. In addition, she was Alyssa's sassy sexpert sibling on ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the The CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the mother of a stressed suburban family. She's lent her soprano singing voice to a number of animated shows including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Recently, she appeared in the NBC's hit comedy Superstore as the dim, yet charming Cloud 9 worker. Her private life is one that's quite quiet with two children younger than five years old. She loves to sew as well as write, and she is an active participant at various school events.
